Hello everyone and welcome to the Great Flood Classic, 2011! This year’s tournament will be held May 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2011.
The cost of this year’s tournament is $1,700.00 CDN with a guarantee of 6 games (3x15 minute stop time periods/game, with the exception of the mercy rule). To ensure scheduling, a non-refundable registration fee of $800.00 CDN is due as soon as possible with the balance to be paid in full by no later than April 30, 2011. If payment is not received in full by April 30, 2011, the tournament fee will increase to $1800.00 CDN. We also require a copy of the team waiver, all insurance coverage forms, team rosters, as well as birth certificates for all players. The participating male age groups will be as follows:
- 8 years - Born on or after January 1, 2003
- 9 years – Born on or after January 1, 2002
- 10 years – Born on or after January 1, 2001
- 11 years – Born on or after January 1, 2000
- 12 years – Born on or after January 1, 1999
- 13 years – Born on or after January 1, 1998
- 14 years – Born on or after January 1, 1997
- 15 years – Born on or after January 1, 1996
- 16 years – Born on or after January 1, 1995
The participating female age groups will be as follows:
- U-10 years - 2000-2001
- U-12 years – 1998-1999
- U-14 years - 1996-1997
NOTE: The MAXIMUM number of players per roster is 19 or less, including goalies. The roster of your first game will be the roster of the balance of the tournament.
First 8 teams accepted. After the first 8, 2 teams will be accepted at a time so we do not have an uneven draw. Your team will play:
- 1 Friday Game
- 2 Saturday Games
- 2 Sunday Games
- Possible 2 Monday Games, if your team makes it to the Championship round.
IMPORTANT: Registration will be closed to all Sunday May 1, 2011. All non-refundable deposits must be made by May 1, 2011 or your team will not be placed on the schedule. |
